1. Blessed is the man // that walketh not in the counsel / of the . un- / godly:
Nor standeth in the way of sinners, // nor sitteth in the / seat . of the / scorn-/ful.
2. But his delight is in the / law . of the / Lord:
And in his law doth he / medi.tate / day and / night.
3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the / rivers . of / water:
That bringeth forth his / fruit . in his / sea-/son.
4. His leaf also / shall not / wither:
And whatsoever he / doeth . shall pros-/per.
5. The ungodly / are not / so:
But are like the chaff which the / wind / driveth . a-/way.
6. Therefore the ungodly shall not / stand . in the / judgment:
Nor sinners in the congregation / of the / righteous.
7. For the Lord knoweth the / way . of the / righteous:
But the way of the un-/godly . shall per-/ish.
Glory be to the Father /and . to the / Son,
and / to / the Holy / Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and / ever / shall be:
World / without / end, A-/men.
Why do the / hea-then rage, and the people imagine / a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take / counsel to-gether, Against the Lord and against / his a-nointed,
Saying, Let us break their / bands a-sunder, and cast away their / cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens / shall laugh: the Lord shall have them / in de-rision.
Then shall he speak unto them / in his wrath, and vex them in his / sore dis-pleasure.
Yet have I set my king upon my / hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath / said unto me,
Thou / art my Son; this day have I / be-gotten thee.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine / in-heri-tance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for / thy poss-ession.
Thou shalt break them with a / rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a / pot-ter’s vessel.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye / judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and / rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled / but a little. Blessed are all they that put their / trust in him.
Glory be to the Father, and / to the Son, And to the / Ho-ly Ghost:
As it was in the beginning, is now, and / ever shall be, World without / end. A-men.
